Day 1 :
Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok and transfer to the hotel in the old city. Depending on the time of your arrival, there is time to explore the city and stroll through one of the exotic night markets in the evening. 3 nights in the Nouvo City Hotel

Historic old town and modern city centre. Visit the Grand Palace and the world-famous reclining Buddha of Wat Po. Take the Chao Praya express ferry past the famous Bangkok riverfront skyline to Siam Square and walk the unique Sky Walk to Erawan Shrine. With a Klong ferry to Wat Saket and walk up the Golden Mountain and enjoy the incomparable view over the bustling city.

Bicycle tour with mountain bikes (est. 38 Km, 5 hrs.) to the old parts of Bangkok and Thonburi. Not far from the city centre, we discover the old Bangkok with its small canals, wooden houses, lush vegetation and hidden temples, as the city was since its early days. See the life of the Thai people, as only a few visitors will ever see.

Day 4 :
Southbound

Domestic flight (not included) to Krabi and transfer to the hotel to Klong Nin, one of the paradise beaches of the west coast of Koh Lanta. The sunsets from here are legendary. Koh Phi Phi can be seen on the horizon. 2 nights on Koh Lanta.

Day 5 :
Koh Lanta

Free day for hiking, snorkelling and to relax. We recommend a snorkelling tour to the uninhabited Koh Rok archipelago or a hike in the nearby National Park.

Departure to Krabi. From Koh Klang Pier on the Krabi river by longtail boat to the unknown, rural island of Koh Klang in the mangroves south of the city. We check into the beautifully located and quiet hotel (the only one on the island) on the west coast. In the afternoon enjoy the tranquillity and the beautiful surroundings. Optionally, we can also explore the island with its small villages, fish farms and rice terraces by tuk tuk or bicycle. The sunsets here are legendary - again. 2 nights at the Islanda Hideaway Resort

By longtail boat to the famous tropical islands of Koh Poda, Koh Gai and the Railay peninsula will pick you at the hotel beach. Snorkel gear and lunch are on board.

Visit the famous Wat Tham Suea Temple and hike 1,237 steps to the shrine at the top of the towering cliff above the shrine. Later, visit a local family, who introduces you to the local Thai cuisine. Lunch couldn’t possibly get more local – simply delicious. In the afternoon continue to the lively Ao Nang. 2 nights at The Scene Cliff Villa

The beautiful mountain, deeply embedded in local mythology, overlooks the entire coast of Krabi. A sometimes-steep jungle path through dense, pristine coastal jungle leads to its 517m high summit. Breath-taking views over the surrounding karst landscapes, mountains, forests and the coast with the local islands are rewarding and unforgettable. Total walking time about 5 hours.

Drive to the Khao Sok National Park. Along the way, stop at Ao Thalane bay for a fantastic kayak tour through mangrove wilderness and a spectacular canyon in the shadow of high karst cliffs. Continue to Khao Sok National Park (approx. 165 km) with an overnight stay in a rustic lodge in the middle of the forest on the banks of the Sok river. In the afternoon, the river invites you to swim. 2 nights at Art’s Riverview Lodge

Drive to Cheow Lan Lake (60 km). On the way visit a local market. By boat into the spectacular lake area in the shadow of high cliffs and mountains and dense jungle – truly one of Asia’s quintessential landscapes. A challenging jungle hike leads to the Nam Thaloo stalactite cave. If you want, you can also explore the cave. Walking time about 4 hours.

Day 12 :

Towards the sea. It is only 80 km to the coast at Khao Lak. Enjoy the proverbial paradise beaches.
