Embark on a rewarding ride on quiet back roads, past plantations, towering cliffs, small villages and mosques. Our destination is one of the most important Buddhist temples of the south of Thailand, the Tiger Cave temple (Wat Tham Suea). We visit the main hall, the Chinese pagoda and the vast grounds that contain shrines, caves and one of the last remaining areas of primeval rainforest in the kingdom. Challenge yourself to climb the 1237 steps up to the summit shrine, with spectacular 360 views of the surrounding landscape and across the Andaman Sea. Transfer back to Ao Nang with a private songteaw.
